aficio 2232c color registration

i have a 2232c that the colors are off on. everything is lines up good, except for the magenta on the bottom of the page. i have tried cleaning the transfer assembly, a color registration, i even updated all the firmware. what else can i do? please help. thanx

Make sure your PCU and developer unit are in good shape. If they're both in good condition, try the adjustments listed in the bulletin below. It maky take you awhile, but it will make sure everything is right.
Colour alignment issues have to be the worst thing to try and troubleshoot. Good luck!

If color mis registered is magenta, first color developed check paper registrationand feed. Also these transfer units have been known to have problems with the encoder on the unit.

You may also want to check the bushings on the rollers in the transfer unit. We've seen them crack or get packed with toner & cause registration problems.
