Ricoh MP C2500 WIM logon issues

    hi all

I have a used MP C2500 which had access control set and I was unable to even get the WIM page by the IP address in internet explorer. So I telnet to the printer and sent the 'access flush' command to clear.

Now I can see the WIM page however cannot logon as admin.

I enter the admin as user and leave password blank and the page sits there with the swirling circle on the web page tab.

I have got into supervisor mode and reset the password to 'admin' however still it kind of just hangs after entering the credentials.

I did a NCS reset previous to the 'access flush' telnet command too.

    Can anyone help?

have you tried turning on machine admin and attempt to use the admin or supervisor user to log into the machine from the copier panel? Reset the pw from the admin tools, then re-try the wim? The best way to resolve access control is to look at the ip of the copier and connect your laptop directly via network cable, changing the network properties of your laptop to be within the ip range of access control. You can then log into the WIM, disable access control, and you're home free. Now that you've done some telnet commands you might have corrupted the nvram.
