    ricoh 700 service codes

    copier will give intermittent service codes of 321 and 626. we have performed laser pitch adj. updated all firmware checked all connections and tried a new BICU bd. machine has good power and a line conditioner.

      The BICU is the only things these two codes have in common. I have seen 321s caused by a bad print controller.

          machine is not used for printing, copying only so not sure if controller would cause this issue, i also have tried a different hard drive to no avail. thanks for the time and info.

              SC321 is a laser F-gate error.
              On older Ricohs I believe the F-gate signal went through the printer controllers. I seem to recall that a loose connection on the printer controller could cause SC321.
              Or faulty printer IO board.
