Aficio 2238 - SC Code 670

Hi All,

I have a Aficio 2238 which keeps throwing up SC Codes 670. Is there a possibility that it could be due to the Lan cable? Currently it is using"cross" rather then the normal "straight" connection.

SC 670: No response from BCU at power on

Definition:
When the main power is turned on or the machine starts warming up from energy-saving mode, the controller does not receive a command signal from the BCU.

Possible Cause:Troubleshooting Procedure:
1. Turn the main switch off and on.
2. Check the connection between the BCU and controller.
3. Replace the controller.
4. Replace the BCU.

I agree with your suggestion i faced the same problem but we changed IP address for the machine and then worked.
