Hi people.

I'm rather network technician then copier/fax one. Nevertheless I understand basic of electronics...

Nevermind. We inherited Aficio 1515f. It can copy and send faxes. Manual says that it can be used as a network printer as well. Nevertheless I can't get into any system settings to find the IP or anything. The company that it worked before in doesn't exists and no one can help me finding this information...

Manual (the user one), says that there is no password as default. Unfortunately someone has set up operator code. Is there any way to hard reset it? Or to restore factory defaults? Or any other way to get to settigns?

1515f has copy/fax features only.
Tech reset the key operator code using SP7-810-1.

I took it for granted that 1515f is also a network printer
Nevertheless code is resetted

Btw. So what is network card for? To use Fax over IP?

The hardware for the fax/print/scan options is all in the same little box on the back. The only difference in the units is the DIMM that is installed inside. The ones that have the print DIMM installed activate the NIC.
