    MP C4501

Hi All have a weird one here, when the customer replaces the black toner it doesn't reset the toner level indicator, this is causing the machine to stop printing etc. I have replaced the toner pump as we thought it was the toner light that wasn't going out, also replaced the toner cartridge board, still wont reset it.
    Any thoughts appreciated

    Regards
    George

Check what SP 5051 TonerRefillDetectionDisplay is set to ? If its on you could try turning off and power cycle the machine then switch back on

If this does not clear it, try SP 3045, Toner End Detection:Set. Same procedure change it, cycle power, change it back, cycle power again.

Check SP 3101-9. If it is a negative value, perform slimslobs procedure with a NEW cart installed. You may have to disable and enable 3045 a few times before it finally recognizes the cart.

Put an apostrophe between the b and the s. Possive of slimslob. Meaning my post.
