Aficio 2238 - Used toner bottle almost full

Hi All,

I know this may sound pretty silly, but I need to clear this sign " used toner bottle full" appearing on my customer's Aficio 2238 and I don't have access to my service manual at the moment. Any quick help is appreciated.

Try replacing or empty it

Assuming that this is the Aficio C2238, the waste toner is in back of the waste silicon oil reservoir. Open the front cover, swing out the waste oil reservoir at the bottom left corner, pull the waste toner bottle out and empty it. Easy to do. Better yet, considering replacing the machine before you have a HDD fail. This model uses two HDDs. They are pre-structured by Ricoh and have to be replaced as a set and must be ordered from Ricoh or taken as a set from another machine.

The problem was bcoz of full toner waste bottle. Problem solved after emptying it.
