    Ricoh MFP's Address Book Security

What technique do you use lock down the address book from walk up users?

Customer does not want them to be able to see it or modify it.

    Thanks in advance.

    scratch that...

    2nd try
If you turn on admin authentication and restrict admin tools then go to extended secuirity there is an option to restrict use of destinations. turn that on. and then depending on how determined the walk up user is change the admin password.

I always lock down the address book with admin authentication turned on, also, on the newer machines, I remove address book management from the home page

Thanks for your help. I got this to work on a C4503. Noticed that the option was also gone from the scan screen to add a destination.
