    copy counter

Hi all have a customer that has an old D422 with an external copy counter the kind they use in post offices, were they switch the machine on from behind the counter to let the customer copy it gives a reading of how many they have used and he charges them. He now wants to set it up with a MPC2500 has anyone done anything like this, not seen or done this for years

Look in the manual under Installation>Key counter interface unit. I don't know if it will work for your particular counter, but it may be a place to start. You will probably need to contact the manufacturer of the counter for specifics about compatibility with the C2500.

The key counter unit that mika mentions might work with the setup the customer is currently using, just have to modify the cable to connect to the C2500. There is also a setting is user tools that has to be made.
