I feel very confident that it is not the ADF unit it self being this is the 4th ADF unit installed in the last month. I pull up the jam count for the ADF and it's always J005 location. Customer says it doesn't seem to do it when just scanning. Replaced PSU with no change. NOTE: I put ADF in output mode to check all motors and the drive for feed motor seems to slow down little by little and level out after a minute or so. Has done this which each ADF installed. Any ideas?

Re: Ricoh MPC3500 ADF jamming J005
Just curious, what's the model number of the ADF you are using? There's been at least one thread here about ADF problems that were caused by similar, but incompatible ADFs.
Also, could you share a picture or two of the paper jammed in the document feeder? It would help the rest of us rule out inappropriate media as the problem.Comment

Faulty door ,home, cover switches toggling?
Something like the home switchs on the bridge unit toggling on off during ADF use?
Not much help sorry....Inauguration to the "AI cancel-culture" fraternity 1997...

try replacing IPU board (it outputs the control signals for ADF ) . also try the controller and I/O boardLive for yourself and you will live in vain. Live for others, and you will live againComment
