light copy and false low toner blinking ricoh afficio 1045

im not sure but i think the problem started by manipulating service codes in the machine .. i changed most of the values to the default value... stupid mistake
please anyone can help me with my problem

To start off with, if you are using after market toner and developer, replace them with Genuine Ricoh supplies. If you have change the developer, vacuum out the entire PCU and toner tray so that there is no toner residue left. Also if there is a film of toner on the development roller it will need to be cleaned off. Make sure that the ID sensor is clean. While you have the toner tray disassembled check that the Mylars are still in place. If they have come loose but are still in the toner tray, you can reattach them with a spot of hot glue, otherwise you will have to replace the toner bottle holder.

I totally agree with "Slimslob" as he hit the right point with his suggestion above..

Did you look at the developer unit?
If not, you should do that and tell us what you find.

SC 352 has to do with the ID sensor pattern. As I stated in my previous post, make sure the ID sensor is clean. Check SP 3001-001. If the valus is above 150, run SP 3001-002. Check SP 3103-001 through 004. If all readings are 5.00 or 0.00 the sensor is dirty, defective or the disconnected. After cleaning or replacing the ID sensor, run SP 3001-002 to initialize it.

try to replaced the toner supply first, it seems toner is not dropping effectively, this is cause by after market toners or compatible toner.

If the developer unit isn't working correctly, that won't help.
Sorry, that's the last time I'll bother you about that.
