Can anyone tell me the part number of this little mylar? This is a B804 3020 finisher. I have had a rash of these becoming damaged and in need of replacement. I really don't want to order and replace the entire belt assembly just to get a .50 cent mylar.

Re: SR 3020 Mylar
Mika, it is not sold separately. You need to order the entire exit belt assembly, item 16 on the drawing. You have to disassemble the entire staple table to replace it. -
Re: SR 3020 Mylar
Can't you replace the mylar with a "homemade" one? In the worst case i would order the exitbelt, undo the bold/nut (exitpawl) and screw it on to the old belt, It's a lot of work to replace the entyre exitbelt. By the way, is it an essential mylar? It wasn't on the previous models.Comment

Re: SR 3020 Mylar
I guess I'll have to manufacture it. The trick is finding a quick drying adhesive to attach it. Superglue doesn't cut it. They are necessary. When damaged or deformed, the paper entering the staple tray will get stuck under the metal belt hook instead of sliding back down into the paper holders causing the sheet to be stapled somewhere other than in the middle when making booklets.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment
