[Jamming] Booklet Finisher (B804) jam at lower try?

I replaced the 2 lower sensors on the lower tray Booklet tray, worked for 3 copies then stop and said to remove paper from tray. Message will not go away, any idea. Thanks.

Did you get the connections backwards? If that's the only thing you did then either it is a connection issue with the sensors or the replacement sensors are not the correct type to be used.

If you are trying to remove the tray and let the booklets feed out into a box, you have to tie the arm up to where it is about 1/2 inch above where the top surface of the tray would normally be. One of my customer came up with this.

You can also put some black electrical tape around one of the interrupt sensors so that it is always flagged and then remove the arm altogether. I do this a lot and then we put a plastic bin down and the booklets stack themselves very nicely.
