    MPC6502 Pm reset problem.

I have replaced the Cleaning unit for the black pcu. I am unable to reset the machine. Follwoed the process in manual. Done sp 3-701-xxx (manual new unit set) and also done Sp7622-xxx(Pm counter reset). But we are still stuck with the replace cleaning blade message.

    Any Help

Are you sure you the message is for the black drum cleaning unit? There are other cleaning blades in the machine. Print out you PM List and see what has gone past life. Could be your ITB cleaning blade, image transfer roller cleaning blade, or blade for one of the colour drums. There are 2 charts in the manual, one for predecessor models and one for D135/137 models. Are you following the right instructions?

First of all, thank you for your reply. Yes, its definitely for the black cleaning unit. Had a plough through myricoh last night and found the tech bulletin regarding the different models. Maybe doing it wrong. Going to bob in there today and have another stab at it.

      Thanks Rosspt

Did you start the machine with an open side door? You have to do that, to get the reset PM counters to work.
