Can you print from the bypass tray on a Ricoh MP 161? If so, how do you set it up so you can? Thank you for any help given.

Re: Ricoh MP 161
A lock symbol means it won't auto select that tray, you always have to manually select it. Most machines you can enable auto tray select for any tray in User Tools > System Settings > Paper Tray Settings, but some machines you can only enable it for the normal paper trays and not bypass.Comment

Re: Ricoh MP 161
This is incorrect; though the MP161 isn't capable from duplexing from the bypass anyway. That is only possible on newer (and larger) Ricoh models. The lock symbol only means that Auto Tray Select is disabled and if the primary paper tray runs out of paper, it will not switch to the locked tray. Instead you'll get a paper end message and the job will suspend until the primary tray is refilled.Comment
