    Setting default file type on an MP6000

    I have a customer with an MP6000.
    She wants to setup the scanning to have TIFF files as the default scan type.
    I have setup the scan screen with the TIFF selected and went up and pressed the program button and set the way I have it showing to be the default.

    But it always reverts back to PDF. Customer would like to cut this step out of the scan setup process (they do 1000's of individual scans a day) and have TIFF as the default.

    Any help would be appreciated.

      What type of scanning smb ftp smtp ?

          Make sure they are not using 'simplified display' since this has it's own scanning defaults.

              Just went to the customers office and setup a program and gave it a name and saved it.
              Was hoping to just make TIFF the default but setting up the program was the second best choice.

              Customer is happy!

                      On most Ricoh equipment, the factory default is TIFF. Go to Program - Set As Default - Restore Factory Settings.
