Ricoh Aficio MP 4001 DF130/B802-01

Is the document feeder, DF-130/B802-01, on a Ricoh Aficio MP-4001 prone to misfeeding? The problem seems to be with the limit roller, but I've never seen a document feeder give me an issue with the limit roller as quickly as this one has. Does this document feeder have a history of problems with the limit roller causing misfeeds? Thank you for any help given.
