    MPW 2400 format problem

    Hello dear friends,
i need help, well i have problem with A0 printer MPW 2400. Cant print custom pages from Tray 1 and Tray 2. I have rolles 916mm (Tray 1) and 546mm (tray 2).When i want to print from ACad some project with custom dimensions printer wont print them ,exemple (weith 916mm x lenght 1500mm). On other one same as this one and with same settings in driver works fine. What could be a problem with this printer. And one more thing i cant print out counter list on this one with problem, doesnt metter what format of paper i sellect, usualy it prints out on A1 but this ona wont print on any.

    Tnx in advance

Is there an error on the screen? An error window on the PC? Can it print anything? Please describe more than just that it doesn't print.

No when ever i send something to print in regular sizes it prints, when i sent custom size to bypass it prints, but it wont print custom size from tray 1 and tray 2 when i define exact dimenzions for example 916mm x 1500 mm. And signal on printer is put correct paper size in printer.

Have you specified the custom size paper for tray 1 or 2 on the machine or just in the driver? You must select the width of the roll from the predefined menu options in the printer and then your print driver matches those settings for it to print without a paper size mismatch error. You manual will have a section for setting your tray settings correctly and watch out for enlarge/reduce/scaling/pdf page size/auto orientation settings in your driver.

          Which driver are you using?

Depending on the OS, there are PostScript, Universal PostScript, and some RPCS drivers.

Personally, I normally recommend using the HDI driver with AutoCAD, as it is more customized for the application.

          All are downloadable from Ricoh.
