[Misc] Fax nt recognized

New out of box MPC6502 not recognizing fax. Any ideas?

Make sure the MBU is seated well on the FCU and switch the battery jumper to the "on" pins.

if you installed the fax, check the jumper on the fax. make sure its on.

if you didnt install, is it showing under SP modes? or user tools?

All that has been done. Not showing in UT or SP mode. Ordered new fax option.

Wrong fax option perhaps?

Its not the same as the MPC6501 that's why I ask.

Encountered with different machine(MP C4503)it can't detect the Fax option . Just updated the firmware and it worked fine. Maybe firmware issue.

Firmware fixed this, not sure why, but it did, Thanks
