RICOH MP2000le power out

hi there, i've got a RICOH Aficio MP2000le in my office working perfectly in the past days. just today morning morning when i switch it on, i realize that it was death, no power on the unit. i tried out the power source on the wall, it was ok. i was just wondering if there is a circuit breaker on this machine that need to flip it on again.

i would appreciate any help here that might get me this machine going.

thanks guys, i did find out ont the psu board that the 2.5A fuse is blown. i replaced this blown one and swtitch on the power, blows the fuse again. replace the fuse again, blown it as it did again.

maybe i just need to replace the power supply board instead, what do you recon?

would appreciate your help.

One thing you might want to do first is check the voltage from the outlet the machine is plugged into - make sure it is within specifications. No need to ruin a new or repaired power supply.
Also, if you can, let us know the designation of the defective fuse. While a new power supply (or one repaired by a trustworthy shop) will most likely take care of the problem, there is a chance that there is a problem elsewhere in the machine that is causing that fuse to burn out. Knowing which fuse you replaced would help in locating that.

All the above and ...

Unplug all the DC side plugs of the power supply board going to all other units.
If possible check the power supply for black or scorched components, copper tracks or bad smell of burning. Put your nose in close and have a good smell.
Refit a new fuse and test the power supply board again. It may be a fault in another unit not the power supply board itself.
