Hi, MP C2050 worked fine until suddenly stopped printing. Evertything seems to work fine except that it is not visible on LAN. Machine doesn't obtain IP from DHCP but it's possible to set it manually. Direct connection to the network computer card also checked. Two LEDs in ethernet port are lit. I cleared NCS settings - no effect.

Re: Ricoh MP C2050, suddenly disappeared from the network
Disconnect the network cable from the MP C2050 and connect it to your laptop. If you do not get a connection with the laptop, then it is either the connector cable or the network, bad jack, bad cabling to the jack or bad switch. If the customer IT does not feel it is their network, ask them if they have another printer that they know is working that can be moved to there to test the connection.Comment

Had one do this a month or so ago, reseated connectors, wound up swapping controllers, new (previously enjoyed) one failed, reinstalled old controller, started working. WTFComment

Print off a confrig page. If "Ethernet authentication for IEEE802x" is active, it's locking the NIC out. Disable that and all should be spiffing. It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.Comment

I have had instances where SNMP caused non-printing issues...disabled SNMP and everything was hunky-dory after that!
