I love monday-mornings.......
Customer had problems to copy on thick paper, allways jam & a little scar on leading edge (A-4 paper). Take away the section with the roller & sensor (only 2 screws) and saw that the mylar pn B0442814 was not properly glued in. Left side OK, right side ca. 1 1/2 mm to high. Corrected this symptom, thick papers running fine.
Back at the showroom, i looked at the 301 standing there! Looks like the person who mounted this mylar was drunk or high ????
RICOH (germany) is informed. I will have a close look to other 301 in the field.

After firmer investigating I can confirm, that Ricoh use high personnel for this kind of mylar glue job's. It's the fumes from the glue that gives the 'High"-effect
