Ricoh Pro c720s - Magenta toner on sheets

I am getting magenta toner on my sheets. I have swopped the magenta drum and drum cleaning unit with other colors and it continues to show magenta on my sheet. So it seems to be something with the magenta developer unit. Not sure where to go and what to check from here to narrow it down and find the faulty part. The magenta drum is at 22% used and magenta developer is at 14% used. Any suggestions?

How is your image transfer belt? If the majority of your print jobs have a large amount of magenta being used, as the itb spins around there will be castoff toner that falls on a metal plate (right side underneath). That can cause toner to fall onto your page or onto rollers that then leave smudging. I have also seen the itb cleaning unit leak around the seals and cause smudging on the edges of the page similar to your samples, however that is usually a brownish black smudging and not just a single colour. I would suspect that there is a build up of magenta toner somewhere inside the paper path of the machine and whatever is above that would be your culprit. If you are sure that it is the dev unit then you're looking at a unit replacement I'm afraid.
