Scan Router for 1515MF Ricoh

Greetings all, We have a 1515MF that was working on an older Windows 2000 Server network.

The server it was scanning to that win 2000 server and running a older version of Scan Router is toast, and I've not able to locate the older copy of scan router they had most likely it was on that server.

The newest download won't work on another Win 2000 server, anyone have a copy of an older version
that can be installed on a 2000 server to route the scanned documents. They do not have a
newer version of windows server and it's not an option at this point

I don't know whether to be more surprised that there's a ScanRouter install still out there, or that there's still a Server 2000 system still in production. I'd at least hope that it's not directly connected to the outside world as that OS is seriously insecure at this point.

ScanRouter doesn't support anything past XP, and 2000 was the original supported OS so I would think that any version would work, you may just have some settings on the server set incorrectly. Double check your ScanRouter settings as well, it's been a long time since I've had to deal with that and it was never a smooth setup. The first thing that comes to mind is whether the 'new' server is using the same IP as the old one.

I downloaded a version from Ricoh but it's not working, the server IP is different but that would go into the software, the ip on the printer is the same as before, like I said been a while since I messed with it, as it's ran for years problem free, if I could find the original disks...

I see the scan router software on the spare server
but can't get to any setup options.

Just setup scan to email, this model supports it. Then Run as fast and far away as you can from scan router................

Scan router has worked well here from the day it was installed
lucky I guess..


Well found the original cd, installed v 2.1 and setup the system

Bam works perfect...

If the IP address of the server is different, the IP address of the new server has to be set on the 1515. SP 5845 is where the delivery server (Scan Router Server) information is set up.
