    Lanier LD040 (D011-17) Set-up Question

How can I disable the auto duplex setting. When copying, it automatically prints onto 2 sided. No option on the screen to print 1 to 1.
Scrolled through the pdf service manual and not finding it. Also don't see it on the internal prints 5-990-All.
I've been told they now come that way from the manufacturer, but how do you turn it off?
    Thanks in advance.

We've scrolled the copier menu as well and did not find it.
Do you have exact specifics where in the menu it is at?
      Thanks again.

            Hello Cobiray:
            Thanks for your reply.
On the initial screen, the display does not offer 1 sided to 1 sided. That icon is not there. The only duplexing icons are 1>2 T2T, 2>2, 1 comb 2 orig, 1 sided comb 4 orig,..
How can I get the 1 sided to 1 sided icon on the screen and to defualt to 1>1 copying?
            Thanks for your support.

I am not able to deselect from the duplex mode since all copying choices lead to duplex copying.

In user tools copy & document features there is a one to one duplex mode, I´ll upload the user manual.

                this is your link:
just open the site in full screen and close the add and your download will pop up on your bottom left.

Thank you for your support and time for uploading the Aficio 1035 user manual.
The Aficio 1035 has product code B003, but the Lanier LD040 has product code D011-17.
There may be a diference and may be why I was not finding what you were referencing. Will look through it.
We are still researching this, but if anyone knows what I need to do, I would appreciate it if you let me know.
I'm starting to think the answer is in placing the 1>1 icon into the initial screen and then deprogramming duplex default.
Right now we just don't know how to get the 1>1 icon into the initial screen.

Just so we understand, the main copy screen has the single side original to duplex copy selected (highlighted). If you press the touch panel again it will unselect the mode thus giving you single side to single side copying.

If you can't unselect the mode on the touch screen you may need to run the touch screen adjustment.

                              Finally corrected

                              Good morning guys:
This morning we received a call for tech support through the distributor we purchased this machine from.
He had us go to the initial screen, deselect 1>2 so that icon is not yellowish, press the program button, set program default, yes, then resets itself, then he had us power the machine off and back on.

It appears you guys were right on. Either we were just not getting it right or the powering the machine off and back on was the step we were missing. I still need to find out if that is the case. I will enter it in my technical note for future reference.
I greatly appreciate your support & valuable time, and this web site.
                              Have a great weekend.
