    RICOH MPC3002 NOISE

The RICOH MPC3002 gives a dragging sound every time printing color.
Black/White is OKAY. Checked the PCDU unit all Okay.Noticed that when I Take out the PCDU units and fit them back the noise goes off
for some time than comes back after several copies (color).
Cannot Identify where the noise coming from. Performed the SP Output Checks on Motors relating to PCDU all colors, still cannot isolate.

    Need help on this.

I'm not trained on this machine, so take this for what it is worth.
Still, if that machine is similar to the MPC2530 family of machines, take the front cover of the color PCDUs and look for brown dust. That will indicate that the PCDU needs to be replaced.
One other thing, you might want to inspect the ITB. On the older machines at least, while the black transfer roller in the ITB is always in contact with the black drum, the color transfer rollers in the ITB are not unless you are making color prints. Something to think about, anyway.
Sorry if this was a waste of time.

The motors most Ricoh color machines 60, page/minute, run slower when printing/copying color. Fusing unit chatter is therefore more likely to occur with color and not with black. The Engine firmware needs to be v1.05:04 or higher. If the manufacturing date was prior to October 2013 and the fusing unit/fusing sleeve has never replaced, it might need to be. See Technical Service Bulletin D111/D142 - 007 Reissue.

            It's a PCU jammed in toner collection/cleaning.

the sound is like - The ferry is in harbor in a few minutes-ish?

I should add that the fuser sleeves on these models barely last PM, or even past, in my experience. Even with updated firmware.

In my experience this sound from ITB, did you repair the ITB before the sound

No, I had the machine serviced only,no parts replaced.
The machine was working okay at that time till recently.PM counts are well within range.

                      Cheers

Check the metal triangular teeth on the PTR unit, they can bend upwards and cause horrendous scratching sounds when the paper goes over them. They are also bloody sharp so watch out!
