Black/White is OKAY. Checked the PCDU unit all Okay.Noticed that when I Take out the PCDU units and fit them back the noise goes off
for some time than comes back after several copies (color).
Cannot Identify where the noise coming from. Performed the SP Output Checks on Motors relating to PCDU all colors, still cannot isolate.

    Need help on this.
The sound can come from the exit rollers. I have several cases with it. Cleaning and lubrication is neede.

      Re: RICOH MPC3002 NOISE

Not shure is I shuld start a new topic or add a question of my own here but here it goes.
I went to see MPC3002 that's making scratching noise in fuser,I noticed that it makes louder noise when 80g paper enters fusing unit while some thicker paper make eather lower noise or nothing at all.
Looks to me that eather pressure and temperature aplied during the fusing is wrong or that fusing sleave needs to be lubricated a bit more, yet I'm not shure, that machine did 8000 prints so far, culd anything be wrong with it already?
I did some Canon fusing sleaves in the past and from what I saw is that they newer reach designated PM number and that they are 2 sensitive,or just 2 sensitive for my taste.
How meny pages can I expect that fuser to do? That aimed 300k seems imposible especialy after what I'we seen on MPC 2500,4500,2800...
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

I had this it sounds like a cat scratching I thought it was the fuser but it was the anti static brush on the transfer roller the metal spike stick out scratching the paper.

It was antistatic here also,I'd guess that thicker paper puled some pins up in it's path and made them scratch other paper as it passes over.
In this case I think that was also causing paper wrinkles as it would sometimes bend paper edge before it enters fuser.
I found buliten about it with changes on transfer roller for permanent solution...I'll post the part number soon enough.
          Thanks for the help guys.

            Hi there!
Yes, the static brush of the ptr is allays a pita. The good one is that the whole ptr was modified by Ricoh, so you only get the modified part when ordering a new one. And the clou is: no more scratching ( or other ) noises occur.
            Greetings...
