    Address book Management (MP C2003)

Guys, how can I upload names of 200 users in the address book of the machine instead of configuring it individually? Do you have any idea of the format of the .csv file? Thanks in advance.

Use the Smart Device Monitor for Admin: SmartDeviceMonitor

You can export the current address book to CSV to see how it is designed, then just use Excel or another spreadsheet application to add more rows yourself.

If they already have the names on another machine, back it up in WI and restore it on the new machine.

I'm having a problem getting the data from the machine, when i use the smart admin tool and que up the machine to just get the data. Tt start to process it and returns the "fail to read data 660" error.
I have six entries in my address book. Plus i have no problem pulling down other address books from my 2051.

This is the way I usually back up the address book. When we are replacing machines, I backup the old machine to a thumb drive and use it to restore the new machine.

Ok, Under the Maintance Tools, on the web interface i found the backup and resotre, and was able to backup address book from old machine to New. That workaround does it for the address book, now on to the SMTP.
                Thanks

I've added a few screen shoots, and for what it's worth, SMTP is not working. It feels like some kind of security setting that blocking things.

Try to use SMART DEVICE MONITOR FOR ADMIN. For me it is easier to use.

Would anyone share the installer? Unfortunately I lost my backup and Ricoh removed the download since this tool is discontinued (but still helpful imho). Thx!
