Replacement of maintenance kit

I have sp8100dn which displays replacement of maintenance kit, i try to clear that by reset 7804 pm coun ter but message still display.
kindly guide us

You did not say that you replaced the maintenance kit. Depending on which maintenance kit, actually replacing the kit is necessary to clear the message. Some models require the the kit counters need to be cleared through User Tools if the machine has been configured for user maintenance.

I resolved that issue,
There is a switch On the back of developing unit to reset this message which can activate by a lever located with the developing agitator drive gear on back of development unit.
