I've gone through the cover open jam section of the service manual, but I can't get the finisher to cooperate.
We weren't even making copies when the message showed up. If I open the duplexer or front cover, the machine recognizes those areas are open. Close those areas up, cover open message for the finisher.
Any recommendations for items to check? I've cleaned the sensors, checked for jams, checked for a broken door.
If I unplug the finisher, the machine boots up fine and copies and prints beautifully. Plug the finisher back up, cover open. The arrows point to the back of the finisher. When the machine is powered on, the tray doesn't move ... I thought the tray used to move up and down a little when the machine was first powered on?
