    Blackboard Reader on MP C3003

I have installed a Blackboard card reader CR3000 on a Savin MP C3003 with optional interface Type A. I got a harness from Jamex with the pins A9 anb B9 as the enable and A10 and B10 as pulse, with SP5113 set to coin box. When you slide the card the copier goes to ready, makes a copy and at completion of the copy cycle it stays at ready. It will only reset if you hit done on the card reader. With that being said the enable works fine, I have no pulse out of A10 but a constant 6.9V so the reader never resets. Any help would be appreciated and I was told Ricoh does not support that product. Thanks,

    Hi

If you can share a bit more on the connectivity (and pinouts) side of the blackboard reader i might be able to help as I have fitted coinboxes to colour mfps before with that interface board.

RFP_14-10_Attachment_E_CR3000_Copy_Reader_Installation_Guide.pdfThe Blackboard is not the problem, pin out on the optional interface is. Attached is the Blackboard documentation I have. Thanks,

        Hi

I had a look at the install manual. What settings did you do on the copier when you connected the reader?

Is 5113 set to 1? We normally use that setting.
