    Hi there!
Sometimes the clutch is bad, cleaning the 1way-gear also helps. But what really helps, is to put screws in the green fences, the rear fence is "wandering" to the back of the deck, espacialy when the the deck is full with paper. The separationpad must also be inspected, there are 2 types: with mylar, and the old one without mylar.
    Hope this helps.
    Greetings...

If paper jam always same location then you can easily trace the issue with the sensor

Did you observe that the paper is starting to feed when you press the print key?

Most commonly the clutches in those secondary units go out, you can usually tell right away if you hit print and it jams almost immediatly after you hear it attempt to feed and the paper is barely if not at all under the roller the clutch has probably given out. If its hard to tell in a pinch i just pull the clutch out clean the shaft and bushing then poor some rubbing alcohol in the white gear edge and slap the clutch around a bit usually this will break it free temporarily so you can put it back in and try it, about 70% of the time it will feed normally at least for a short time, thats pretty much a sure sign the clutch is bad. In my experience when there is no obstruction and the jam location is 2cd feed area it is the clutch about 90% of the time. Once in a while you get a dirty sensor from paper dust or some really odd issue like the connector to the main base unit etc.

I have had issues with this series 161/171/201 with the metal plate bending slightly on the lower trays where the connector connects to the main machine. Doesn't look like much to the naked eye but have fixed issues by bending it up slightly.
