    MPC2051 Black shadow

I have an MPC2051 that is leaving a shadow on some parts of a printed document.

The shadow only occurs when duplexing and is only on the odd pages (ie 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 etc).

I have attached a sample. Unfortunately the original looks better than the scanned copy.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check the paper transfer roller and the fusing unit pressure roller.

Thought i might add the the shadow looks like a fine mist, kind of like when you drop toner on a tiled floor.

What sort of mileage does the black PCU and ITB cleaning unit have on it?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

It is in the service manual and Product Support Guide.

The black PCU and Dev unit was replaced about 3 or 4 weeks ago so only has 4K on it. About 18 months ago the ITB tore so i replaced it along with the Cleaning unit and transfer roller and all three have 93K.

I have replaced the ITB Cleaning unit and Transfer roller today and it seems to have cleared up the shadow a bit. There is still a little the occasional patch of shadow near the black bar at the top of an SMC report but not as bad a yesterday.
