MP 301 using VOIP not recieving all faxes.

I am preparing to go to a customer tomorrow afternoon. They recently upgraded their fax machine from a MP 171 to a MP 301. The customer is claiming that since the upgrade that they are not receiving all of their faxes. The customer is using Voice Over IP.I had this problem a couple of years ago. If I remember correctly there is several SP settings and Bit switch settings that will improve the baud rate, and resolve this problem.
My problem is that I can not locate my notes from a couple years ago.
Is there anybody out there that would know what changes I need to make?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Faxing over VoIP, the correct configuration settings that you need to make.


I would turn off ECM mode first and try. then lower the baud rate. the rest is your play. let us know what worked for you.

Attached is a list of settings to change. I would recommend NOT to turn off ECM on the first go around, try the other settings first.

Initial fax negotiation baud rate might be set too high....try setting a lower starting baud rate.
