Hi guys,
I need to transport a Ricoh Aficio 3245C some distance in the back of a van.
The service manual suggests, as well as removing the toners and taping a release lever down, the transfer belt needs locking with a 'lock pin' to prevent vibration damaging the belt and the PCU.
It says the lock pin is supplied with the machine - well, it might have been when the first owner had it, but it hasn't come with my second hand unit!
There is a picture of it in the manual, but I would just be guessing at its size and the material, and the last thing I want to do is stick something in the hole which might cause damage!
So, does anyone have the locking pin, referred to in the service manual, who could measure its length and diameter for me, and let me know the material, plastic or metal, please?
Many thanks,
Robin.
