hodgie there are multiple posts for Vista scanning issues. I have posted a doc for this (smb scanning)it works for some not all. the different flavors of vista have different capabilities also. A 1045 should have twain and the dreaded scan router lite or pro as the other scan options, Good luck with that!Mystic Crystal Revelations -
