Re: MPC6003 Double feed jams J99
Got the same issue. j099 occurs when the double feed sensor detect the paper weight more than the preset settings. I just dis able the double feed sensor sp1-302-001 to 006 for each tray.
Get back to you. problem still under isolation but if you do know the solution. please update here as well.
thank you

Re: MPC6003 Double feed jams J99
Any luck with this???...saw one today doing it out of two different trays.. single sided also. Looks like the rollers on one of them had been replaced with the older style light green ones for this issue earlier...no luck I guess. only 50k on the box.Leave a comment:

Re: MPC6003 Double feed jams J99
On the older 60 ppm color box it was SP 1110 set to 1 to disable double feed detection. It also occured with dirty or faulty bypass sensor. I don't know if that holds true on the new boxes but its the same Jam number.Leave a comment:

Re: MPC6003 Double feed jams J99
Swap the reverse rollers with another tray, if the problem moved then the rollers will need replacing.
Is it always on duplex and not on simplex?
Seems strange if it only happens on once feed section, might be worth while swapping the entire feed assembly. Sounds a bit like the duplex drive isn't engaging, I've had a duplex feed motor go once, might also want to look into swapping the motor out. I believe it also drives bypass, so if that doesn't work, it is the motor.Leave a comment:

MPC6003 Double feed jams J99
Hi All,
I have a customer with a Ricoh MPC 6003 that keeps getting J99 Double feed jams. Two pieces of paper found in duplex.
The Problem Only occurs from tray 1 A4 Paper (80gsm).
Now I know on the large mono machines you could turn off the double feed detection, but cannot find anything similar on this machine.
I have done the usual things such as replaced feed rollers and cleaned sensors etc, but the problem still occurs.
Machine has only done around 170k.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
