Hey all! Any advise appreciated on this issue.

SC226-Laser synchronizing detection error: start position [C]: LD0
So far all I really did was reseat all connectors from laser assembly including from the (C) LDB. Im not too confident that will hold up. I didn't see too many parts available for the laser aside from the polygon mirror and a few others. Im looking for the (C) Laser Detect Board but not part numbers are available...Thanks for the feed back.

It looks like Ricoh wants to sell the entire laser unit. The only other parts they show are the polygon and cover, screws and louver for the polygon. The 3D parts finder also shows the top cover for the laser unit. The laser sync boards are inside the housing and the optical path might be blocked or the detector out of position.

BASTARDS! I thought for some reason the manual was downloaded incorrectly...even went as far as downloading it again. I hate those 3D manuals... @slimslob Thanks for the input.

The MP C4000 is the same. Only the entire laser unit and the polygon available for spare parts. I guess they are afraid that we won't put parts in correctly. Then again, with some of the numb nuts I have seen ask questions here.
