    [Error Code] MP6001 with SC101 then SC144

    Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have an Martini C4 (MP 6001) that had SC101 then shortly after it came up with SC144.
when the device is powered on the mirrors and lamp doesn't initialize and move to white reference. I have replaced the Lamp, Scanner Motor and the SIOB but none of these have solved any of the issues.
    Any help would be appreciated!

The Doc-feed needs to be in the 'down' position for white reference reading to initialise. I would check that the sensor is working. I cant remember if this model has an actuator on the underside of the doc feed or has a tilt switch on the inside of the doc feed.

1.You can check scanner lamp and motor using out output of SP mode
2.Change the cable between BICU and SBU
3.first reset the SC code and then you can manually apply light directly to CCD to bypass the mirrors errors

          most likely
1: It means service mode ''ON'' so you just have to ask the administrator to turn it off for you or if you know the credentials you can do it as an administrator.
2: you should be in copy mode screen while entering service mode.

          Regard's

I would check as to why the scanner does not move. The SC 101 could be because the scanner is not at the white reference. SC 144 is the SBU, if you have one try replacing it. The other thing for SC 144 is replace the BCU. Also checks all connections to the SBU, BCU, and SIOB.

I have had some SC codes lock me out of SP mode. Turn off main power and then turn back on with the front door open and see if you can enter SP.

The Lamp doesn't even turn on though, hopefully that will fix it!

                Hi,

Did you ever resolve this by fitting a new lamp?

I had the same problem with a Mp 3350, in my case it was a loose connector on the bicu board
