    Replace NV ram. Thats only way. Why doing that?

        Only the NV Ram minus counter from another 270 will work.

            Do you want to reset the total counter or just the PM counter?
            Total counter will get you in big trouble if you dont know what you're doing.

                    It's in the upper-right corner of the BICU board. #22-NVRAM, #27 BICU board in the parts catalog.

                    I have not done this on one of these machines before. I've only done this once, on a color machine, and the NEW NVRAM required the Ricoh Regional Service Rep-or whatever name he gave himself- to come out and input the serial # and stuff.

                    I think if you swap a used one, you'll be ok.

                      Why do you want to reset the total counter? Perhaps to sell the machine to someone with a lower meter reading?
                      This is akin to turning the odometer back on a car. Very unethical!

                        Probably, although there could be a legitimate reason why. Just like what wally world does-rollin' back prices.

                          To reset AF 270 total counter......u just exchange nvrem from printer board & nvrem from BICU Board.After exchanged..... execute SP5801 memory clear...thats all
