It's in the upper-right corner of the BICU board. #22-NVRAM, #27 BICU board in the parts catalog.
I have not done this on one of these machines before. I've only done this once, on a color machine, and the NEW NVRAM required the Ricoh Regional Service Rep-or whatever name he gave himself- to come out and input the serial # and stuff.
I think if you swap a used one, you'll be ok.

Why do you want to reset the total counter? Perhaps to sell the machine to someone with a lower meter reading?
This is akin to turning the odometer back on a car. Very unethical!
To reset AF 270 total counter......u just exchange nvrem from printer board & nvrem from BICU Board.After exchanged..... execute SP5801 memory clear...thats all
