MPC 2800

Hi. I have a MPC 2800 which keeps asking for black toner. Customer had put a new cartridge in and it was fine for a day and then asking for toner again.

I i have checked the cartridge motor and it's all turning. The feed out is working and all seems well. I didn't know, before I start stripping it all down, if anyone has had this on this model or 3300 and may know what it is.

The pumps fail all the time on these types, replace the black pump (D0293221) and vac out the pipe. It is very rare that the pipes get damaged.

Sounds like a toner pump, D0293201 is the black toner pump.

The pumps fail all the time on these types, replace the black pump (D0293221) and vac out the pipe. It is very rare that the pipes get damaged.

Hi. That part number is for the MPC 3001. Is that the same part as the MPC 2800? :0)

The number I gave was replaced by the other number. It's a very simple replacement, I'll print you off a couple pages from the service manual if you don't have one.
