i have ricoh mp1100 and an sr 5000/v2 finisher which i put it on the machine and nothing happens like the machine can't see it.please help me. if anyone knows if another finisher model is suitable for this machine please let me know.thanks

The SR5000 V2 was a modded version of the finisher for the MPC6000 with special firmware and a speed adapter so that's probably why it isn't recognised.Can you see a firmware type when you print SP5990-5. The custom firmware is D3755104#. Try forcing the standard SR5000 firmware onto it, otherwise I fear you will need a new finisher controller.
