    MY C3003

I am unable to access Web image monitor. The machine can copy print, fax and scan. It has been working for the past few months, but the Web image monitor quit working. All settings have been checked and firmware is update. What next?

Please provide us with a list of the settings that you have checked. You may have missed something and with out a list of what you have done, all we can do is guess.

We have tried from several different PC's. All can ping but can't access WIM. We have tried chrome, firefox and internet explorer. no luck

What is the http response code you recieve? Or, does it just timeout?

If the error is 403, you most likely have an access range set. If the code is 404, you could have incorrect IP and subnet settings, or the controller settings could be corrupt.

Use telnet to log into the machines IP address and perform an "access flush".

Also, try setting the machine to DHCP and make sure the DNS is also set to Auto-Obtain, let the machine do a soft-reset, then take note of the new IP address and use that to access the WIM. Or, take a note of all interface settings from User Tools > System Settings > Interface Settings, and perform a memory clear on NCS / NIB only. You will need to re-enter the network settings after a reboot.

Have you tried restarting the unit?
Also, if anyone enabled the AirPrint feature, you'll need to do https instead of http.

We have restarted it many times. AirPrint not enabled.
                Thanks,

Try connecting to a PC with a crossover cable.

Could be a network thang blocking access.

We had an account that could not see WIM because of anti malware software. We disabled it and the WIM worked fine.

Seems like overkill for a problem that most likely could have been fixed on the software/firmware side. But it works now so that's what counts.

I had tried all firmware and software ideas that I have ever heard or was told. Nothing else solved the problem. Ricoh Tech support had me try lots of stuff none of which worked either. At some point you have to make it work to keep the customer happy.

                          Thanks
