I would like everyone's opinion on the MP W2400. Like's and dislike's. I have a customer that want's a wide format and it's been since the 240W that I have worked on or sold a wide format. Maybe suggest a model you like better! Thank you for you opinion!

I've got one in the field for about a year. No major issues and the customer seems to like it. A big con to me is the main charge grid is individual wires and springs which must be removed to replace the charge wire. Stringing these long -ass wires is time consuming and frustrating, and I have strung literally thousands of corona wires over 27 years.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment

You'll find it's a lot like the 240W. One look inside the machine and you'll see a lot of similarities. I've had one of these in the field for the last few years and haven't had any major issues with it yet. The drum is quite expensive to replace when you get around to that, but then so are most of the parts in a wide format.
Had to adjust fusing temperatures a bit to get the machine to run copies on mylar paper without the toner rubbing off of the page.Comment

I think W240 is server base model for printing and scanning but W2400 is stranded USB and network printer and majority parts of both models are identical.
