    Hold Print confirmation screen

    Hello!

Is there any way to disable the confirmation screen that shows when a print job is released at the machine?

This last screen it's a bit unnecessary and the customer would like to get rid of it. Is there any way do that?

    Thanks

Yeah. Don't send to Hold print.

In Print Server Properties turn off (Uncheck) Show informational notifications.

Is this setting on the copier, or on the Windows print server?

AFAIK, the screen is required to be able to release "hold' print jobs. If not there, I would think it defeats the purpose of using "hold" print in the first place. Hence my original, somewhat snarky remark.

Once the job gets to the machine, regardless of its path, it needs to be released by touching the screen, at least in some manner.

Maybe I'm missing something? Wouldn't be the first time...

That screen is an additional screen that shows up after you select the job and press "print", and it allows you to change quantities and other settings. The customer doesn't need it because he already set everything up on the driver properties.
