Hello We have a Ricoh MP-C6003 that if a fax is received during the middle of a copy or print job the fax will be printed in the middle of the current job. It should wait until the current job is complete. Also the faxes are being forwarded to a network folder and also printed. Any ideas?

Re: Fax Print in the middle of Current Copy or Print Job
To disable printing of forwarding faxes, set fax parameter switch 11, bit 6 to zero[1].
See: Forwarding and Changing the User Parameters
(Links are for MPC2050, but should still apply to this model.)
If you have a finisher installed, you can set the fax to output to another tray than print jobs. For example, print jobs are sent to upper finisher tray or staple tray, if stapled, and faxes can be set to output to internal tray (above bridge unit).
Otherwise, you can buy a 1-bin tray (part# BN3110), which you can output faxes to and which has an LED to indicate a fax has been printed. -
Re: Fax Print in the middle of Current Copy or Print Job
They changed it on us in the 02/03 models guys, just weren't thru this today, don't use the parameter switch 11/6, goto reception settings, hit the button on the upper left(can't remember what its called) turn print off. This button overrides the parameter switch.Comment
