[Misc] MP2001 screen disappears

hello
here's my problem
my RICOH MP 2001 sometimes when I press a function key the screen does not display all options. there just up written "ready to copy" or "ready to scan" by function and the rest of the screen is gray nothing can select as the buttons as duplex, reduction, expansion, address book disappeared. this problem is random occurs for 5 minuntes then disappears.
someone would have already had it that worries?

The only possibility that I can think of would be that you had logged in to User Tools as admin and have not logged out. Admin is has rights to configure the machine but not rights to use the machine.

Assuming this is a mp2001SP with the newer op panel, maybe its the button at the bottom right that enlarges the screen. You lose most of the options that you described. If its pressed again all back to normal.
Most customers struggle with that button
