MPC2800 with SC540 & SC565

Hi,

customer called for an SC540 (fuser exit motor?)
did not have an exit motor, but another fuser unit in the car.
So I swapped the fuser, it run but 1 hour later customer called for SC565 !! (Not sure if fuser was allright)

Returning tomorrow, but is it the fuser or the exit motor . . .?

anyone? Thanks in advance

The pressure roller-fusing lamp stays ON for 120 seconds or more while the fusing
unit is in the ready condition,.
• Broken pressure roller fusing lamp
1. Replace the pressure roller fusing lamp.
2. Replace the PSU.

Have had the pressure roller thermister cause this.

Had the same problem (sc565), in my case it was the pressure roller thermostat (blown).....the problem is that the fuser roller heats up the pressure roller and the machine works for a while without problems......, (try to disconect the thermostat to believe...)
