MP CW2200 poor image after print head replacement

We have a wide format that the cutter crashed into the print head.

Original tech replace the cutter, the print head, and the encoder. Now we are getting what I will call double\ uneven imaging ( internal, external prints and copies.)
Tech support has had us replace MBU,IPU, and another encoder, with no success in correcting the problem.
They are now saying that it could be the Controller.
Any ideas out there?

Am guessing you changed the K print heads only? Might be worth retracing your print head replacement steps in case its not fitted correctly.

I'm sitting with almost the same problem, Mine having only the problem on black after replacing the black print heads. Even when trying head alignment auto and manual.

Any suggestions

Withnail is correct, re-check the print heads. Maybe it is not properly latched in correct position.
