hi, my problem is that i can't open a PLT file in my Scantool when the PLT has created in Autocad 2007 or 8 or 9, is there any upgrade for my plotbase RW - 240?

    Please help somebody!

Did this just happen all of a sudden? And, do you have at least 1GB of RAM?

I had problems with the RW240 software unless a gig of RAM was installed?

Did you recently change any settings involving the PCI card or computer?

I am not an expert with the wide-formats, but I have messed with the software a bit.

I am not aware of any software upgrades that would allow it to work any differently.

Also, make sure that the 'server' for where the software is running is relatively clean-any bloatware will eat into any resident RAM and will do stupid things with the software.

    Did you uninstall/reinstall anything?

Plotbase software can be updated to version 3.7.1 for the RW240. It will provide expanded features for Autocad 2008 and is Windows Vista compatible. The newest version is on the TSC site under the wideformat section.

I guess it helps when you have access to the TSC website.

Losing access a while back makes it difficult sometimes. From what it sounds like, he may be having other problems. Of course, it never hurts to update anything to the latest-and-greatest.

I do not see PLT on the list of supported file formats.
Can they not export or convert to a supported format from AutoCAD?
